Midnight Happy Hour: Champagne Cocktail
- 1 sugar cube
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Champagne
- 1 oz brandy
- orange slice for garnish
- maraschino cherry for garnish
My girl Courtney loves champagne cocktails and she is staying with me this weekend. I was super stoked to accommodate her because I hadn’t even heard of this drink but I had all the necessary ingredients to make it happen. Hence, we are drinking this at midnight.
It’s lovely. Bubbly and pretty to look at with an interesting bitter edge. A great drink to have with appetizers. Or one to imbibe while taking in the NYC skyline.
