We’re moving to LA because it’s the place to be for Justin’s career. I love NYC though, and would choose it over LA in a heartbeat (But, hey, I’ve never lived in LA, so what do I know? Ask me again in a couple months…).
I could go on and on about why NYC is amazing (the food! the energy! the endless possibility of it all!), but at the end of the day this city is not for everyone. That’s something you gotta decide for yourself.
I will advise, that when deciding where to live, you need to go where the jobs are. If you don’t have a job lined up I would not suggest coming to NYC, because it is TOUGH here (If you’re in school and you’ve got money/rich parents, NYC might still be an option though). NYC will kick your ass and send you packing if you just show up and expect to make it. Whereas, I think you can get by a little easier in LA. There’s more wiggle room for error there.
Again, I can really only speak of living in NYC because I’ve done it for the past 5 years. I don’t know enough about living in LA to have a firm opinion just yet.
