Confirms She Is Pregnant She and fiancé Ben Brewer, lead singer and guitarist of The Exit, did not reveal when the baby is due or the gender, but they made sure their fans knew they are serious about having a child. “I got engaged first, then I got pregnant, kids,” M.I.A. said. —- HA!  I’m pretty sure getting knocked up during the engagement still constitutes as having a baby out of wedlock, so I dunno if she can claim some sort of moral superiority.  Not that there is anything wrong with having a baby out of wedlock, but let’s call a spade a spade.
