Reasons Why LA Is the Worst Place Ever

It was a stunning day in LA today. Went on a hike at Griffith and we could see all the way to the Pacific on one end and the snow-capped mountains of the Angeles National Forest on the other end.

While it is more cool and cloudy than it should be here on this most quintessentially Summer-est of holidays, I somehow think this weather forecast is wrong.
Tonight I met Josh Groban at a karaoke bar
He thought I seemed familiar, and asked had he ‘seen me in anything’?
Y’all, I get this a lot (seriously, I guess every brunette with nerd glasses looks like me), but I was laughing especially hard at this one, because c’mon! Josh Groban! Thought I was an actress or some shit!
PS- He’s totally normal and cool and we were at a very dive-y, unpretentious bar.

This place is a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I basically would like to own everything inside of it…as soon as my bank account bounces back after this crazy move.

Signed the lease on our new LA apartment today. Please take a moment to help me acknowledge the awesomeness of my new kitchen - it is at least 6 times larger than any kitchen I’ve had in NYC.

One trend I’ve been noticing, when looking for LA apartments, is that basically there is a strip club within walking distance from 75% of the places I’ve looked at.
